Beginners Questlines
We encourage you to complete the tutorial questlines, as they offer various valuable rewards and benefits. However, completing them is not mandatory, and you can leave them unfinished without missing out on any aspect of the game. Many of these quests serve as tutorials or are designed to help players level up.
- Character experience - While completing the quests from the questline, you will progress very fast. The max level is 100, and if you focus on doing it, you will end up at around level 50. In the very first 30 minutes of the questline, which consists of only two stages, you will reach nearly level 20, allowing you to join Valley of Death Tournament and the Castle Siege event, which starts right after. These are safe PvP events where you can have fun between quests or while taking a break from other activities.
- Solid equipment - You will be rewarded with a variety of items through quests, loot drops, and chests you find along the way. Simply by completing the questlines, you should end up with Tier 3 equipment.
- Character Development - As you acquire better gear and defeat enemies, you will improve your character’s skills, allowing you to use better weapons and armour.
- Gold - You will need it to buy food and equipment, as well as to pay for fast travel between locations on the world map.
There is more!
Gloria Victis has more to offer than just the quests and events. The game doesn't end once you finish the questline or feel tired of doing it. Gloria Victis has multiple activities you can do right away, and the most fun are the ones which you are doing alongside your nationfolks or guildmates. Almost every activity gives you character experience.
- Are you looking for PvP actions, check this thread How to jump into PvP.
What else can you do in Gloria Victis?
- Guild Island - Create your own guild, level it up to level 10 and buy a Guild Island where you can build your own castle from scratch!
- Become a Feudal lord! - The feudal system is a mechanism that allows any guild to take control of the location it wants.
- Castle sieges - Participate in the battles over castles and forts, or clash with enemies in the open field.
- Crafting - In-game economy is shaped by the players and by the goods they make. You can sell them on the market, which is global, so it includes all nations and all servers or at the local booth stall.
- Raw resource gathering - Roam around the world map to find the best resourcers, or you can harvest them in the mines and lumbers.
- Planting and Harvesting - Each major location has a field where you can plant your crops and care for them to speed up the growing process. Additionali you can take care of the farm animals.
- Roaming and Discovering - Tame yourself a horse and start discovering the world. Search for resourcers, small NPC camps with loot chests, and finish occasional world events. You may have a lot of fun just discovering the world map alone or with friends.
- Building and upgrading castles - Players have to build and upgrade the nation's castles from scratch, and then they have to maintain them.
- Deticated Guild Events - Guilds are gaining "Guild activity" points, which are summarised once a week and based on the result, guilds are receiving special keys that allow them to start an event with high rewards.
Worth knowing information

- Horses spawn in various locations throughout the map, and each nation has a few spawns near its capital city.
- Parties may be joined remotely from anywhere on the map with the Party Finder. Press [P] button to open the Party Finder window.
- Gloria Victis has a partial loot system, which places limitations on looting downed players. Gloria Victis has a variety of loot enabled and loot disabled events and areas to fit many playstyles.
