Beginners Questlines

Beginners questlines offer various valuable rewards and benefits. However, completing them is not mandatory, and you can leave them unfinished without missing out on any aspect of the game. Many of these quests serve as tutorials or are designed to help players level up.

  • Character experience - While completing the quests from the questline, you will progress very fast. The max level is 100, and if you focus on doing it, you will end up at around level 50. In the very first 30 minutes of the questline, which consists of only two stages, you will reach nearly level 20, allowing you to join Valley of Death Tournament and the Castle Siege event, which starts right after. These are safe PvP events where you can have fun between quests or while taking a break from other activities.
  • Solid equipment - You will be rewarded with a variety of items through quests, loot drops, and chests you find along the way. Simply by completing the questlines, you should end up with Tier 3 equipment.
  • Character Development - As you acquire better gear and defeat enemies, you will improve your character’s skills, allowing you to use better weapons and armour.
  • Gold - You will need it to buy food and equipment, as well as to pay for fast travel between locations on the world map.

There is more!

Gloria Victis has much more to offer than just quests and events. The game does not end once you finish the questline or decide to take a break from it. There are many activities available right from the start, and the most enjoyable ones are those you experience alongside your fellow nation members or guildmates. Almost every activity rewards you with character experience.

What else can you do in Gloria Victis?

  • Guild Island - Create your own guild, level it up to 10 and purchase a Guild Island where you can build your own castle from scratch!
  • Become a Feudal lord! - The feudal system is a feature that allows guilds to capture and control locations across the world.
  • Castle sieges - Participate in the battles over castles and forts, or clash with enemies in the open field.
  • Crafting - The in-game economy is entirely player-driven. Goods crafted and gathered by players can be sold either on the global market, shared across all nations and servers, or through local market stalls.
  • Raw resource gathering - Travel across the world map in search of valuable resources, or gather them yourself from mines and Lumber Mill.
  • Planting and Harvesting - Each major location features farmland where you can grow crops and care for them to accelerate the growth process. Additionally, you can look after farm animals.
  • Roaming and Discovering - Tame your own horse and set out to explore the world. Search for valuable resources, small NPC camps with loot chests, and take part in occasional world events. Exploring the world alone or with friends can be a lot of fun.
  • Building and upgrading castles - Players are responsible for constructing, upgrading, and maintaining their nation’s castles.
  • Dedicated Guild Events - Guilds gain "Guild activity" points, which are summarised once a week and based on the results, guilds receive special keys that allow them to start a high-reward event.

Worth knowing information
