Location progression

From Gloria Victis

Every location has to be built and maintained by the players. They aren't pre-built by the system. Players have to gather resources, deliver to the bastion and then use building materials to start building the location.

Architect's Table

This is the object which you have to interact with to start building and fulfil the location bastion's demand for building materials.

Other bastion demands are for food, tools, weapons, and morale. The last one can be increased purely by delivering alcohol, but whenever you deliver other things, the morale will rise too. The sum of these four demands impacts the location happiness and **efficiency**, which is very important. A high level of **efficiency** makes your guards stronger, and the crafting workstations provide better outcomes - more or better items, more experience goes to the crafting branch and character.

Location efficiency

Efficiency is the measure of the effectiveness and condition of a location’s amenities, and it is measured by a score of 1 to 3, with 3 being the highest. A location with low efficiency will have a high need. Its guards will be weakened, and crafting stations will work at a lower level until those needs are met. Efficiency may only be improved when the location is not under siege. Improve the location’s efficiency by fulfilling needs.

Location upgrading

Upgrades improve the health points and defendability of structures. This can be the difference between holding off the enemies banging on the gate and them breaking through. Anyone in the nation can begin or complete upgrades at nation-held locations.

For upgrading, players are using building materials. These are packages that each bastion generates outside on the pallet.

Player Driven Logistics

Player-driven logistics means that players can transport special packs by using wagons and bring them to the bastion of the primary location to fulfil the stronghold's needs without spending their own gold and resources.
