Guardhouse

A guardhouse is a building that spawns NPC guards. Guards respawn from this building when killed. Guardhouses can all be upgraded to level 3. There is a guardhouse for each layer of walls in a location, so forts have 1 guardhouse, and castles and Temples have 3 guardhouses.

Upgrading a guardhouse improves the level of the guards at the location, making them stronger.

A guardhouse can be destroyed with siege equipment including battering rams and catapults. If the guardhouse is destroyed, guards will not respawn.
