Tamed horse

Overview

Wild horses may be tamed and ridden as mounts. They can also be effectively used in battle by allocating points in the cavalry skill tree. Horses spawn in various locations throughout the map, and each nation has a few spawns near its capital city. To tame a horse, simply walk up to it and press E. When tamed, the horse will display its ageing and level statistics and you will have the option to name it. If you do not wish to keep the horse, press the red X.

Mounts gain XP while being ridden over distances and when used in mounted combat. When a mount levels up, it receives 5 attribute points which may be spent on its four unique attributes. A mount may be trained once every 22 hours at the stablemaster. Multiple horses may be stored in your stable.

  • Press T to summon your mount. To change which mount is active, visit the stablemaster. Only 1 mount may be active at a time.
  • Press E to get on and off your mount.
  • Press Y to view your mount’s attributes and statistics.

All mounts have the same maximum speed, and there is no way to increase the speed at which a mount runs. There is currently 1 model of horse available, and no accessories or skins. Mounts do not require being fed or cared for in any way. Mounts may be bought and sold at stalls.

Mounts may be killed during gameplay. It will be sent to the stable and available to summon (T) after it has finished its cooldown. Mounts are not permanently harmed when killed.

It is not possible to despawn or desummon a mount. It will remain in the world until summoned elsewhere or its owner logs off.

Mount Attributes

Mounts have 4 attributes which may be improved by spending the mount’s attribute points on them. The effects of these attributes can be modified with points in certain cavalry skills. Mount attributes work on the same diminishing returns system as character skill points.

Vitality determines the mount’s total health points and health regeneration.
Conditioning determines the mount’s total stamina and stamina regeneration. Stamina determines how long a mount can sprint.
Agility determines how tightly the mount can turn and change direction.
Dynamics determines how quickly the mount can accelerate and stop.

Other Statistics

Durability
Base value of 4,230. This value will not change until the mount hits 100% ageing. At that point, the mount will begin losing durability which will cause its attributes to degrade.
Ageing
Mounts age about 1% per day whether they are being ridden or stored in the stable. There is no way to prevent ageing. At 100% ageing, the mount will being losing points in durability, which will cause its attributes to degrade.
Maximum Level
Mounts have a randomized fixed maximum level displayed when they are tamed, which can be between 12-100. A horse with a higher maximum level will have more points to spend on attributes overall.

Stablemaster

The stablemaster can be found near the logistician in any major city connected to the link system. Interact with the stablemaster to view your stable. Stables have 3 slots to store mounts, but more slots may be purchased with gold.

At the stable you can:

  • Change which mount is active.
  • Apply attribute points gained during leveling.
  • Train mount once every 22 hours until it reaches its maximum level.

Mounts will continue ageing while in the stable.
