Level Progression
Level Progression refers to activities and events appropriate for different level ranges. This guide provides a rough idea of what can be done at different levels.
FAQ
What level should I start to PvP? After the tutorial quests, you should be around level 45, and you will receive invitations to PvP events such as the Valley of Death Tournament and non-loot sieges. These are low risk high reward ways to try out PvP. At this point, you will be relatively lower level than many participants and you will still be learning the controls and flow of combat. The best answer is: Start purposefully engaging when you feel ready.
How can I get better at PvP? Queue up for 1v1 duels, visit the arena (icon is near the minimap) and spar with the 3 combat trainer NPCs, join lots of PvP events, and see if you can find some nice folks to mentor you; joining a guild can really help with this.
What is the max level? 100
How many crafts can I level up? All of them!
How long does it take to hit level 100? It depends on your playstyle, what activities you choose to do, and how much you play per day. A new player will probably spend 3 weeks or more leveling up if he plays a few hours a day, joining events and doing quests. Leveling can certainly be done much faster by players who know the game very well.
How do I know where to go for my level? Your quests will guide you until about level 65. After the quest chains end, events and sieges provide a lot of experience points, and these can be nearly anywhere on the map. The further you go from your capital, the more PvP you are likely to encounter. You can roam the entire map and do any events you can see on your map solo or with a group. Beware that some events are designed for groups and are impossible to solo. Every action you do from farming crops to queueing up for 1v1 duels to siege events earns you character experience, so do what you like!
Is there any way to earn extra XP? Yes. You can use potions, experience cards, and any nationwide buffs that increase XP.
