Weapons and armor are organized into tiers. Higher tier items have better statistics and require more advanced crafting materials to create. The tier can be quickly determined by the color of the outline of the item’s icon. It is also noted in the information pop up when mousing over the item. The item tiers are as follows:
Tier 1: Gray
Tier 2: Green
Tier 3: Blue
Tier 4: Purple
Tier 5: Orange
Each nation has its own sets of gear in each color tier, which can be collected, crafted, and worn by any player, regardless of nation. Statistics are standardized within each tier, so each nation has a distinct visual theme but the values are similar or identical.
