Ambers

Ambers are Gloria Victis' premium currency purchased in the Supporter Shop (Default key: K) with real money. Ambers are used to support the development of the game, purchase account and character services, cosmetic skins, and heraldry symbols. Most items that can be purchased with ambers can also be purchased in game with Crowns or Contribution Points. Most items on the Supporter Shop can be purchased by a player for ambers and sold in game for gold crowns at the Market or at player stalls, although there may be a 72 hour delay to access items purchased with Ambers when the item is not immediately applied to the account.

There is no way to earn ambers in game. However, developers sometimes give away ambers to players for special events, screenshot & video contests, or as awards for testing and bug reports resulting in critical fixes. Joining the Gloria Victis discord can ensure you have information about amber giveaways.

Conversion ratio: There is no set ratio for ambers to crowns, as the item crown prices fluctuate based on supply and demand. But, generally, the minimum agreed upon ratio for ambers to crowns is 100 ambers to 1 gold crown, but it can be much higher. This ratio is set by players on an individual trade by trade basis. There is no method to track amber to gold crown averages.

Skins purchased with ambers are account-wide, meaning all your characters will have access to the skin. Character services like Attribute Resets need to be used carefully, as accepting them on one character binds the reset to that character and it cannot be transferred later.

Players can purchase items such as Attribute Resets for ambers on any character and "claim" the item on another character by relogging. In the meantime, the item will be in the account's notification window.
