When a player swings their weapon through an ally player in order to hit an NPC enemy or player, they will receive the ally damage debuff. This has 2 effects:
- It reduces the damage of your swing by 70%.
- It consumes one "stack" of cleave. If you have 5 points in reaper, you can hit 3 enemies with 1 swing. However, if you hit an ally, it consumes one of your cleaves. So you can then hit 2 enemies with that swing.
