Overview
Freebuild is the building system used at Guild Provinces. It is not available at any other location. It allows players to freely place walls, gates, towers, crafting buildings, and the bastion building to create their own layout. Building is limited by two things: the Grid System, and the Fortification and Economic Points budget each province has. These limitations mean that builders must choose what and where to build wisely.
Maps
Each guild province has a unique grid system upon which to build. Images of the Grids for each castle are linked below:
Order of the Original Faith's Keep
The Bastion Building
In order to begin building at a guild province, a Bastion must be constructed first.
The Bastion Building must be of an equal or higher level to every structure. A level 4 Bastion will not allow the construction of a level 5 wall, for example.
Who Can Build?
Only the vice-leader or leader can place scaffolds for building, or order upgrades. Any other player may place materials into the scaffold to build the structures.
To view the building menu, press G, and click on Provinces. Then click on (WHAT?)
A guild may build and upgrade structures up to their guild level. A level 4 guild can build level 4 structures, for example.
What Can Be Built with Freebuild?
Structures that can be built include:
- Walls
- Towers
- Gates
- Vendors
- Market
- Crafting Workshops for all Professions
- Farms, Lumbermills, and Mine resource areas
- Castle Keeper
What Materials Do I Need for Building
Much like upgrading at nation owned castles, you will use common Building materials for building at a Guild Province. Building Materials:
- Granite
- Gneiss
- Limestone
- Logs
- Planks
- Long Nails
- Clay
- Lime Mortar
There are special materials used only at Guild provinces
- Economic Points:
- Fortification Points
- Privileges
At Economic Castles including Audunstede, Aquitania, and Skergard, these locations come equipped with fenced in mines and farm areas which do not require being built. If they are burned down or destroyed by the enemy, they can be rebuilt at the Architect Table.
Privilege
Privilege is an item costing 1,500 Contribution Points and purchased at a Glory Quartermaster that is used as a building component of crafting buildings. Each upgrade of a crafting station requires additional Privileges. Privileges are tradeable.
Required for:
- Farm
- Mine
- Lumbermill
- Tailoring and Leatherworking Workshop
- Armoursmithing Workshop
- Weapon Forging Workshop
- Engineering Workshop
- Inn (Cooking and Herbalist workshop)
Economic Points
Economic points are used for placing the following items:
- Vendors
- Crafting Workshops
- Market
- Castle Keeper
Fortification Points
Fortification Points are used to buy defensive structures including:
- Walls
- Gates
- Towers
The following structures are not "constructed" but simply turned On or Off n the Upgrade menu at the Architect's table and cost 5 Fortification points each.
- Bars on Gate Door
- Oil on Walls
