Contribution Points are a currency earned from PvE world events, competing in the Valley of Death Tournament and completing Daily Challenges. Spend Contribution Points at the glory vendors and the glory quartermaster. Some items will require you to meet a certain Glory Level to purchase them. Most of the items purchased with contribution points can be sold on the market for gold crowns, and many of the available recipes can also be earned from looting NPCs, Cases, and chests. The Champion's armour recipes are exclusive to the Glory Vendors and do not drop elsewhere.
Press (I) and look above your coins to see your current Contribution Points. You can also check this by pressing F2 and selecting My Profile.
