Excavation Pit

Also known as the "Dig Pit", the excavation pit is a place for people to dig up treasures while AFK. The primary reason people use the dig pit is to gather Aqua Regia which is used to create Bulat bars, and to collect Ancient Longswords which are a high damage low durability weapon.

Excavation pits are located in the safe zone near each capital city. To start digging, equip a shovel, stand in the excavation area and press E. The better shovel you have, the shorter amount of time it takes to get an item, and the better chance you have of getting a better item.

You will dig up a variety of junk and low tier items like leather scraps and billets. You can expect to get an aqua regia or an ancient longsword once every 20 minutes or so with a Master's shovel. All of these low tier items can be used in crafting or disassembled for crafting XP.

You will want to open up at least 20 spaces in your inventory to gather items. Most players "seed" their bag with 1 aqua regia, so when more are gathered, they land in the same stack automatically and you don't run the risk of running out of inventory space for the item.

Digging is a fully AFK activity and can be an alternative to logging out.
