Under Construction
Gloria Victis MMO offers a fun and safe place to interact with other players. We encourage our players to cooperate and compete in our game while respecting the fair play rules and ethics.
The responsibility for creating an image of yourself and your account in the game world lies with you. We respond immediately to any type of fraud. Fraud involves exploiting errors in the game, or participating in activities that give an unfair advantage.
Taking advantage of other players is an equally serious violation of the rules. Cheating, sharing your account with others, rigging the game, or any other activity that spoils the fun of other players can result in serious penalties.
We expect our players to treat each other with respect, promote positive role models and take care of the environment in which the game takes place. Acceptable behavior is determined by the Gloria Victis Rules of Conduct and decisions made by the Gloria Victis Customer Service Team, and violations of these guidelines will result in account and gameplay restrictions.
While we encourage players to report behavior that violates our guidelines, sending false reports to limit the gameplay of another player is not acceptable and may result in a penalty for the reporting account. The same rules apply to the in-game /votespy system.
In the event that a player breaks these rules, he or she will be subject to sanctions. The severity of the sanctions varies depending on the case and its seriousness.
Despite our best efforts to detail the different sections with specific examples, there will always be areas that will ultimately be handled on a per-incident basis by the Gloria Victis Customer Service Team. Even when not specified, Black Eye Games Sp. Z o.o. have the sole right and final judgment of how to interpret and apply these rules and guidelines to any specific circumstance and situation, including proper punishment, exception or account termination.
SANCTIONS
There are five types of sanctions that can be applied to players accounts:
Warning – players may receive a Warning if their behavior could be considered inappropriate. Warnings can be sent to players in various ways, including in-game notification or direct message through in-game chat, Discord, email etc. Failure to take or read a warning is not a circumstance that will prevent or mitigate the next penalty. Continuing to violate the game or chat rules can lead to Mute or Ban.
Mute – players can receive a Mute (three days or one week, depending on severity of the violation) if their behaviour in game chat is breaking chat rules. Mutes can be placed in two ways – blocking only public channels, or blocking all game chat channels. Continuing to violate chat rules on any other account during the time of punishment leads to increasing the sanction level and applying it on all of the player’s accounts.
Definitive mute – players can receive Definitive Mute (permanent in-game chat blockade on all of the player’s accounts) after receiving and serving any Mute sentence twice.
Ban – players can receive a Ban (7 or 30 days, depending on severity of the violation) if their behaviour in game violates the game Rules of Conduct, game EULA, rules of Fair Play or Ethics. Continuing to violate the rules on any other account during the time of punishment leads to increasing the sanction level and applying it on all of the player’s accounts.
Permanent Ban – any rule violation after receiving and serving any severe sentence twice (Mute or Ban) leads to a Permanent ban and removing the player from the community. Players with Permanent bans are unable to play the game on any of their accounts, even on newly bought ones. Players can also receive instant Permanent Ban for violating our unforgivable rules, explained in the Rules Severity Table, available to check on the game official wiki.
