World Event
Loot enabled where applicable.
Deadly harvest is a 2 hour territory capturing event occurring twice daily. Check your Events tab for times. The 3 nations compete against each other in order to secure a long lasting and powerful crafting chance buff that will affect all players in the nation, whether or not they were online for the event itself. This is a good way for PvPers to help crafters out, and a huge bonus for crafters if your nation does well in Deadly Harvest.
Look at the Events button to see when Deadly Harvest begins.
Check the map's upper left side to view the current score in Deadly Harvest.
How does it work? Each flag captured and held on the world map is worth points. The nation with the most points at the end of the 2 hour event wins. Nations receive points every minute or so for each flag held. Not all flags are worth the same amount of points. Lordly Haven, Hordun Temple, Pilgrim's Rock and Lord's Wrath Abbey are worth more points than other locations. Additionally, flags in loot-enabled areas are worth more than those in loot-disabled areas.
Flags will be both gained and lost during this time as nations fight for control.
Why is Deadly Harvest important? Many crafters will wait to do their crafting until a Deadly Harvest win is secured, so fight hard! The crafting chance rewards last until the next Deadly Harvest begins, which could be 8 or more hours away, giving crafters time to make more high quality equipment. Additionally, the rapid capping of flags across the map can drastically change the balance on the map relatively quickly and give easier access to some events such as Brandon, Ragi, and Sirius, if you have captured the territory nearby them.
What do I do? Simply capture and hold flags anywhere on the map for the 2 hour duration of the event. This is a pure PvP event that generates a lot of open world activity. Talk with your nation to devise strategies to get the most points. Deadly Harvest is a good time to rack up some Nation Points and Glory and maybe even complete a few other Events as you go from place to place.
Do I have to cap flags for 2 hours straight? No. There is no commitment to this event. Come and go as you like. If you happen to defend or capture something that contributes points to your nation during this time, great. If not, you are free to do whatever you want during Deadly Harvest.
What if I can't be online for the whole 2 hours? It's ok! Assist when and how you are able. This event is easy to come and go from because it takes place across the whole map for 2 hours.
Why is my nation's score locked? You're winning too much. No, seriously. You are. Your nation can't get more points until another nation comes within a certain range of your nation's score.
Why should I care about a crafting buff? I don't craft. Somebody made the armour and weapons you are wearing, and crafting buffs help crafters make better things for everyone.
