Character progression in Gloria Victis revolves around character levels. The maximum level a character can reach is 100. Each level grants 5 attribute points that can be allocated to Strength, Constitution, and Dexterity. Additionally, every level awards 1 ability point, which can be used to unlock passive skills that improve the character’s effectiveness.
- Strength - Increases overall damage output of all weapons.
- Dexterity - Increases damage output of all bows, daggers, and swords.
- Constitution - Provides superior increases to health, health regeneration, and stamina. And provides a good bonus to stamina regen.
Insight: Each character can have more than the basic 525 attribute points. There are rare books that add 1 attribute point, up to a maximum of 25 points.
Character Development
Another important aspect of progression is Character Development. It allows you to improve skills that unlock better weapons and armor, as well as the ability to gather higher-tier resources by progressing through different skill trees.
TIP: Once you unlock Tier 4 armour, try to wear armour pieces from all 3 types - light, medium and heavy armour - at the same time. They have to be tier 4. This way, you will simultaneously unlock and gain access to wear all types of armour from Tier 5. For example, you can wear a Tier 4 light shield, one Tier 4 medium part, and one Tier 4 heavy part.
Crafting
