Each guild province has a time selected for its State of War. This is the only time that a province may be directly attacked. On each server there are two timer options, three hours apart. Guilds and alliances need to think carefully about which of their provinces are on which timer, because they may need to defend multiple locations at once. These timers are sometimes referred to as the "early timer" and the "late timer."

Guild leaders may change their timers at the Architect's Table in the bastion building, but it may not be changed if there is a token currently active on the province.

Guilds owning 2 provinces must have both locations on the same timer. The game will automatically move both provinces to the same timer if the owner changes one province timer but not the other.

A State of War lasts for a maximum of 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Siege Preparations Window

The State of War Timer also determines the Siege Preparations Window, which is the 4 hour time period that a "token" can be placed on a province and Siege Preparations can be completed. It is sometimes reffered to as the "Tokening Window."

Siege preparations may be started from 2 hours before the State of War timer, to 2 hours after the State of War timer. All times are shown as LOCAL TIMES to reduce confusion.
