There are 3 types of damage: piercing, slashing, and bludgeoning. Each weapon performs different types of damage based on how it is used and from which direction it is swung.
The 3 Damage Reduction modifiers on the character statistics screen are derived from a combination of currently equipped armor and Strength, Consitution, and Dexterity values.
How attributes affect damage reduction:
- Each point in Strength reduces slashing damage by .25.
- Each point in Constitution reduces bludgeoning damage by .25.
- Each point in Dexterity reduces piercing damage by .25.
How armor affects damage reduction:
Each piece of armor has some damage reduction for all 3 types of damage.
The skill Man of Steel provides an additional 15% bonus to damage reductions for heavy armor wearers when it is at level 10.
Armor Set Bonus
