Armor, weapons, and tools have quality modifiers which improve their stats slightly with each increase in quality level. Item quality ranges from +0 to +7. Players cannot choose which quality they will make when crafting, rather, the result will be determined by the following factors:
- Mentor Points
- Crafting chance bonus
- Crafting level relative to the item being crafted
- Workshop and Bastion level
In order to secure the best chance to make as high quality an item as possible, ensure that these factors are taken into consideration and pay close attention to the details about expected results in the upper right corner of the crafting window.
+7 quality can only be achieved by reinforcing an item, and the chance is always very low. Click here to learn about reinforcement.
When armor, weapons, or tools have a +5 or higher quality, the item's icon will have a colored triangle in the upper right corner.
+5 quality has a blue triangle
+6 quality has a purple triangle
+7 quality has an orange triangle
