Recipes are learnable, consumable scrolls that teach the character how to create an item. Recipes may be learned regardless of crafting level, and they are stackable in inventory.
Once learned, a recipe has a level range indicated in the Crafting window. This represents the minimum level needed to craft the item up to the maxiumum level you receive decent XP for crafting that item. Crafting it after that point will yield very low XP.
Recipes already known will say "Learned" in green letters when mousing over the recipe.
- 900 total recipes
- 450 Shared (Champion, Leather Strap, steel bar etc)
- 150 Ismir themed {Styrsman, Black Guard etc)
- 150 Midland themed (Knight, Karleonian etc)
- 150 Sangmar themed (Veles, Praetorian)
Acquiring Recipes
Up and coming crafters will want to follow this general recipe acquisition method. Many recipes are available in cities at vendors. It's a good idea to check vendors before checking the market as vendor recipes tend to be cheaper.
Recipes at Vendors
- Starter recipes: Capital city vendors
- Tailor
- Leatherworker
- Weaponsmith
- blacksmith
- Merchant
- Food and Herb Merchant
There are a few high-end recipes in the capital city. But, if it's over 10 silver in the capital city, it is not a "Starter" recipe. Buy those when you need them.
- Green low-tier recipes: Forts connected to the capital-
- Blue mid-tier recipes: Anchor castles
- Dimar Castle and Haddah Castle Sangmar
- Skogar Castle and Volkvar Castle Ismir
- Blackrock Castle and Waterford Castle Midlanders
- Blue mid-tier recipes: Outposts
- Purple and orange high-tier recipes: Glory vendors
- Purple and orange high-tier recipes: Holy temples
- Purple and orange high-tier recipes:
- Champion's Recipes:

Recipes boxes with randomized recipes are awarded during certain events such as Catacombs, Sorcerer's Tower, Volcano, Sea Wraiths.
Animals do not drop recipes.
Anytime your nation takes over a distant territory, it's not a bad idea to drop by and see what the vendors have for sale. Vendors will not show up if the Bastion level is too low, so make sure the bastion is full if you're looking for vendors.
Check The Market for any recipes you can't find and use Filters to remove learned recipes from showing up on the list.
Disassembling to Learn Recipes
It is possible to learn a recipe through disassembling armor or weapons. Right click and an item and select disassemble. This method is best used when you have at least 500 mentor points and are close to the proper crafting level for the higher tier recipes. This is a chance based activity and there is no guarantee you will learn the recipe.
