View source for Total Damage

The Total Damage statistic has three factors: 

1. The weapon's base damage.<br> 
2. The character's [[Damage Multiplier | damage multiplier]] which is based on equipped armor.<br>
3. The character's strength and/or dexterity - depending on the weapon. <br>

Some weapon damage modifiers are based on strength, like axes. Some are based on a combination of strength and dexterity, like swords. Other weapons, like bows and daggers, are based almost entirely on dexterity.
